Please excuse my tardiness...

I have been a tad on the unorganized side lately. Certainly not organized enough to put together a coherent post. It is finally time to sit back, take a deep breath, and create some bloggerific ramblings. First thing's first. The latest trick. We went on a little road trip to Chicago, and Bennett decided that he'd figure out how to crawl at the Hilton. Because where would I like him to be crawling around? Yes, that's right - on icky hotel carpet. Oh well. I did my best to cover his path in blankets, but I know that it is just a matter of time until he completely disregards the blanket path and crawls his way to freedom. Note the cute, pudgy baby legs.



I'm just SO thrilled every time he learns something new. I'm one proud mama.



While we were in Chicago, we went to Bennett's first major league baseball game! Chicago White Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays. We went to the guest services area and they printed out an official "First White Sox Game" certificate for the Green Bean. The weather was perfect, and for a couple of hours our stress melted away while we ate hot dogs and cotton candy in the beautiful sunshine.



We're looking forward to lots more Spring and Summer fun in the months to come. Bennett is also looking forward to crawling his way into all sorts of trouble, I'm sure. He's pretty pleased with himself.
